Alice Heinzen

Alice Heinzen is director for the Office for Marriage and Family Life for the Diocese of La Crosse, participated with her spouse in the Synod of Bishops in Rome on "The Pastoral Challenges of the Family in the Context of Evangelization," and author of Teaching the Way of Love, a Catholic parenting series. Alice Heinzen has coordinated the natural family planning program for the Diocese of La Crosse for more than 20 years. She is the co-author of the "Project Genesis" book series, and she authored the marriage preparation program called "Married Love: Two Becoming One." She has also served on the State of Wisconsin Abstinence Initiative for Teens. Jeffrey and Alice Heiznen have been married for 35 years and are the parents of three grown, married children.
