Our reflection today focuses on the third station of the cross, when Jesus fell the first time under the weight of His heavy cross. It's easy to get discouraged at times when life is difficult and especially if we are struggling with remaining committed to our Lenten sacrifice. But Jesus shows us what it means to persevere as He gets back on His feet, not just once but three times, and He did it all out of love for you and I.
In meditating on this part of Jesus' passion and suffering, here are a few points of reflection to consider:
1. What motivates you to continue carrying your crosses?
2. Do you allow your crosses to become a catalyst for change in your life?
