Among the many interesting questions singles answer when they create a CatholicMatch profile is the question of tattoos.
I recently asked Nate, our programmer extraordinaire, to crunch the numbers on this entry field.
The results: 87 percent of CatholicMatch members do not have tattoos.
Of those, the vast majority say they would never get inked. And yet 10,659 members answered “no, not yet,” implying they would consider getting a tattoo.
To those folks, I’m curious: What image are you considering? What’s holding you back?
For those singles who did report tattoos, 78 percent had one or two. Still, nearly 1,200 members have more than five tattoos.
