What is RELATE 2023?
CatholicMatch is launching its first ENTIRELY online event on February 10th and 11th of this year. It will feature expert speakers on dating, relationships, Catholicism, and marriage. There will also be roundtable discussions by expert panels, you get access to live Q&A to answer your questions, and you can join speed dating events via video chat so you can meet actual singles face to face! (There will be a chance to register for live speed dating with other members who attended RELATE 2023 shortly after the event.)
Basically, this is a lot like the CatholicMatch a singles’ conference, but without the plane tickets and hotel expenses.
What speakers are featured in the expert panels and roundtable talks?
I’m glad you asked! There are some great speakers booked for this event from all over the Catholic internet world. Jackie and Bobby Angel will be joining–you might know them from the Ascension Presents media or their multiple published books. Daniel and Emily Wilson Hussem are also on board–you might know Emily’s Youtube channel or speaking tours, or even her music or books! We also have Damon and Melanie Owens (often seen here on CatholicMatch), Lillian Fallon (cards on the table, I’m a massive Lillian fan on all her platforms!), and other names you probably know like Isaac Huss, Tanner Kalina, Sarah White, and many, many more!
What topics are covered?
RELATE 2023 will be touching on all things dating and relationships and marriage, with the Catholic viewpoint putting them all into perspective. What is the reality of dating today, and what does it promise? What should you be looking for? What if you’ve been through heartbreak, or you’re new to the dating world again? How do you navigate online dating, or those early stages where everything is up in the air? How do you recognize the right thing when you see it? What does a good Catholic marriage look like? All this and more will be covered–and you also get a chance to ask your questions to our expert panels!

Perhaps one of the biggest draws to RELATE 2023 is the brand new speed-dating sessions, which take place after the main events and presentations!
