CatholicMatch Institute Partners with the National Catholic Singles Conference

In an effort to to help more single Catholics through spiritual development, education and community, the CatholicMatch Institute has partnered with the National Catholic Singles Conference (NCSC) for the upcoming 2014 conference in San Diego.

Anastasia Northrop, founder and director of NCSC stated, “It’s an exciting time to be working with the CatholicMatch Institute. The convergence in the missions of our two organizations will expand the reach of the conference and bring the many benefits of the NCSC to a greater number of singles. Brian Barcaro with CatholicMatch.com has been a tremendous support of my work with the NCSC since its inception and I’m looking forward to our further collaboration.”

Since 2005, thousands of singles have attended NCSC events throughout the United States, drawing participants from North and South America and Australia. Every year conference speakers address topics such as masculinity and femininity, building better relationships, nurturing one’s spiritual growth, and living one’s Catholic faith in today’s world. Various fun social events throughout the conference provide occasions for single Catholics of all ages to meet and mingle, while Masses, confession, and adoration offer time for reflection and prayer.

Helping Catholics to date more purposefully and prepare for marriage is one of the main goals of the CatholicMatch Institute, which is why co-founder Brian Barcaro felt it was a good time to work more closely with the Singles Conference. “I have known and worked with Anastasia for a number of years and admired her passion for the conference and the people it serves. The Institute’s purpose in part is to magnify the efforts of existing organizations and ministries where there is a common purpose. This is just one of those cases where it made sense to build upon an existing effort.”

In addition to joining forces on the conference, Anastasia Northrop will be joining the CatholicMatch Institute as a contributor where she will write and comment on issues related to being a single Catholic, as well as principles of the soon-to-be Saint John Paul II’s teaching on the human person.

The 2014 conference will be held August 8-10 at the Town and Country Resort and Conference Center in San Diego, Calif. Speakers will address many of the issues that singles encounter and will offer practical solutions for facing those challenges. Open registration will begin March 15th. You can register online at www.NationalCatholicSingles.com or call: 830-714-4677.

The CatholicMatch Institute is the education arm of CatholicMatch, LLC. There is no requirement to be a member or user of CatholicMatch.com or CatholicMatchInstitute.com in order to register and attend the NCSC.
