I am writing to thank you for the wonderful service and forum that you provide for single Catholics.
I got engaged on February 14th, 2003 to a wonderful woman. We will marry July 26th, 2003. She is a wonderful woman of God. I truly believe that we were sent to each other by God to help each other in sanctification and ultimately, Salvation.
I did not meet Alison on St. Raphael. However, I truly believe that the people that I corresponded with and met from St. Raphael helped to form me into a better man. I learned a lot about relationships, my Catholic faith, and marriage from conversations, emails, and especially from reading the forums! All of this helped to form me for proper marriage.
I joined St. Raphael a few years ago and I truly had no clue about dating, courtship, marriage, and family life. I had always believed that God was calling me to be a priest or a monk.
In the couple of years on St. Raphael, I met wonderful men and women of the faith. I learned a ton about the Holy Church, Sacred Scripture, the Catechism, and the teachings of the Church. Meeting and reading postings of such wonderful Catholics gave me HOPE in dating!
