As a priest, I travel around the world, to spread the Good News.
Since I've done a lot of traveling, people ask me what is my favorite city ever.
I have to tell you, it is Assisi.
Assisi is a hilltop town in the region of Umbria that is so majestic.
When I went there for the first time I thought I was in a Lord of the Rings movie!
It was magical.
It is a place of medieval gallantry and for the first time in my life I couldn't take a bad picture.
I think the reason I am so drawn to this place is because of the spirit of Francis. No, not Pope Francis, but Saint Francis—where our Pope gets his name.
St. Francis' love for the Lord pulled him out of his own world and he discovered that God really does speak to us.
When we respond with a Yes to God, like St. Francis did, our world will be opened in great and amazing ways.
So, I want you to experience St. Francis, St. Clare and all of Assisi, with me!
You will see why it is truly one of my favorite cities in the world.
