CatholicMatch is sponsoring a one-of-a-kind singles movie night for the premiere of the epic movie “There Be Dragons.” Theaters in 28 major U.S. cities will open their chairs exclusively to singles, who can gather together to witness the May 6 movie premiere and then to enjoy an after-party.
"We always make a point to encourage our members to get involved in offline activities," said Brian Barcaro, co-founder of CatholicMatch.com. "This was a great way to support a positive movie and sounded like a fun Friday night for single Catholics across the country."
“There Be Dragons” is an action-adventure romance set during the Spanish Civil War. It has received much advance praise. Bishop Michael Sheridan of Colorado Springs called it “deeply moving,” and the Rome-based Catholic news agency called it an “uplifting balm of redemption.”
