Just like the song "God Bless The Broken Road That Lead Me Straight To You", that has been Teresa's and my (Dave) story. It seems we both had to travel a long way over a long period of time to find that person we wanted to share our life with and share our faith with. We are most thankful to God for bringing us together and we are most thankful to the Holy Spirit for working through Catholic Match to enable us to find one another and join our lives together.
Teresa has been living in Florida for quite a few years. I am from Texas. After communicating for a month on CM, we begin taking turns traveling--me to Florida one month and Teresa to Texas the next. We needed to know if what seemed like a relationship that would endure all was truly that relationship we had hoped and prayed for. Our visits seemed to confirm that we were both pretty much on the same page--we were very serious about finding that person to share our lives with. We both agreed we could spend another year or two on CM and maybe find another person who might be as compatible. But that could never be known for sure and we were both very tired of being alone. We had both traveled a long way in our lives and we had lived more years than we had years left to live. We both had a love and a faith to share and live out with one another. Not to make this a saga, we are living in Florida and hope to make periodic visits to Texas when possible. We ask all CM members--active and inactive, to pray for us and know that you are in our prayers.
