Before meeting Jeffrey, Aisha had prayed to St. Joseph and consecrated herself to him, asking for a partner who would see her through the eyes of God. An intimate proposal!
On their second dating anniversary, during a trip to Montreal, Jeffrey planned a special moment at St. Joseph’s Oratory. The evening didn’t go exactly as planned—the restaurant mistakenly brought out a birthday cake instead of an anniversary dessert, and rain poured down as they made their way back from the restaurant.
But, Jeffrey did not allow the poor weather to impede on his plans. In a moment that perfectly captured the heart of their relationship—faith, family, and fun—Jeffrey presented Aisha with an anniversary gift: a Yankee’s cap signed by her family and friends...and inside was a diamond engagement ring!
“I can’t imagine my life without Aisha,” Jeffrey said. “After everything we’ve been through, it was just common sense that we would end up together.”
Preparing for marriage...
