MaryMargaret-352381 turns 50 on Valentine’s Day eve, and the second-grade teacher who’s never been married is trying to maintain a bright outlook. “It’s a little bothersome,” she said of the milestone, “but I’m hoping the best is yet to come!”
Mary Margaret joined CatholicMatch two years ago because “it’s getting harder and harder to find someone interesting to date at my age!”
A demanding school schedule keeps the Ohio blonde from using the site as much as she “should,” she says, but it’s already brought some lessons. “I’m learning more about what it is I’m looking for.”
She has no plans for a Valentine’s date but usually gets together with a few single friends Feb. 14 for dinner or a movie.
Overall, Mary Margaret is embracing 2011 and seeking new adventures. She loves travel, theater, concerts and dining out and hopes to visit Maine this summer. And though the Irish Catholic is humble, she believes she has a lot to offer a future mate.
“I have very little baggage,” she says. “I have a great sense of humor, am easy going, and have realized that everything in life needs balance and should be shared with another.”
