I met someone on the St. Raphael site, we first wrote, then instant messenger, talked on phone then after three months, our first meeting was going to church together. I agreed to talk to her because I felt "safe" being 500 miles away. But, it turned out she still had family not too far from where I live. We made arrangements for our first meeting to go to the Byzantine Liturgy together on a Sunday morning. That's when I knew I was in trouble!!! We had a wonderful few hours together, and, my life has not been the same since. I joined St. Raphael not knowing what to expect, hoping to find other like minded spiritual people. I was not expecting that God would give me such a gift, and the feelings are mutual. We're still waiting to see how the next chapter of our lives will be, but, for now we are thankful and hopeful. As the words of St. Padre Pio go "Pray, Hope, and Don't Worry" has become our daily prayer.
