Mark and I (Lily) met through Catholic Match on November 2002. We started
corresponding, then moved to weekly phone calls, which soon turned into daily
phone calls. He lived in Albuquerque NM, and I lived in Mexico City, and he
trusted me enough to come for a visit in March of 2003.
We had a great time together, and decided to try a couple more
visits both in Mexico and the United States. He met my family, I met
his, and we knew it was meant to be. We share our Faith as our most
important value together. We got engaged on my birthday, August 30th,
2003 and got married on Our Lady of Guadalupe Holiday, December 12th,
2003. It took some time for me to get my visa to move to the United
States, but we are together now. We thank God every day for the gift of
our marriage.
