Elizabeth Was Looking for Long Distance And Found Daniel
Many CatholicMatch members are hesitant about long-distance relationships, but they are willing to try it for the right person.
Elizabeth was different.
The 30-year-old with a love for adventure was looking for a long-distance relationship and the San Francisco native had her eye on west Texas. It was there she found Daniel.
Daniel was open to a long-distance relationship, although he admits he wasn’t expecting it to be quite the distance it became. The 38-year-old felt a connection with Elizabeth so he was willing to try.
Elizabeth loves to travel, including this time in Las Vegas.
“From our very first communications, it was clear that there was a definite chemistry that neither of us had experienced before,” he said. “If we would’ve put together a list of a perfect match, we would have come up with each other.”
The couple shares the desire for a relationship with faith as its foundation. In the search for a Catholic spouse, Daniel heard about CatholicMatch through advertising and it was also mentioned to him by his priest.
Daniel and Elizabeth may have to deal with long distance, but they communicate easily by texting, talking on the phone and social media. “In many ways we communicate more than may be expected,” he said.
The couple is at an ideal time for a fresh start. Elizabeth took some time off from work to finish her degree in Communications. When she completes school, she plans to relocate to Texas to be closer to Daniel.
“We both feel its God’s providence that we found each other,” Daniel told CatholicMatch. “Both of us, undeniably, feel that God placed us in each other’s path. We both feel we have found the love of our lives.”
Daniel & Elizabeth will begin a new life together in Texas after she finishes her schooling.
