Meris

Meris, a native Texan, studied theology at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas She went on to pioneer a master's of education with the first graduating class of the GRACE Program (Gulf Region Academy of Catholic Educators). After teaching in Catholic schools for three years and joining CatholicMatch several times, Meris discerned a calling to religious life and will be entering the convent of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in Ann Arbor, Mich on Aug. 28, 2011. Meris will miss glitter, the color hot pink, Starbucks, and her sister's dog, Molly. Of course, giving all those things up for Jesus is TOTALLY worth it! (NB: She'll miss her family and friends the most of course.)
